For this project,
Brush Construction restored the exterior of the property to how
it looked when it was built years ago.
Exterior restoration
included rebuilding a second-story piazza, which had been removed
throughout the years, and reworking entrances to ensure they were
historically accurate. Brush Construction also reinstalled gas lanterns
outside the home to make it look like it did when it was built.
The home also
underwent a sophisticated internal renovation that saw its electrical
system completely rewired and made safe. Brush's specialists also
added a large addition -- a study and guest bedroom -- to the rear
of the home.

This relaxing bedroom includes rich wood floors. |

Another important
restoration project by Brush Construction:
- 24
Chalmers Street, Charleston. An old photo was key in providing
architectual detail that allow Brush Construction to return the
exterior of this historic property to its original condition.
